Care instructions: Clean the mat with a wet cloth and soapy water. Air dry flat. For tougher stains use rubbing alcohol. Do not machine wash or tumble try. Relax creases by placing in the sun.

What materials go into your mats? 

Our mats look and feel like genuine leather but are 100% synthetic and contain zero animal materials.Top layer: Vegan Leather – PU LaminateBottom layer: Microfiber – Polyester & PUPU is a high quality, soft, water resistant and durable material & ensure our mats are perfect for indoor or outdoor use. We do not use toxic dyes or resins, we use the PU resin to laminate and add non-toxic colour paste to create our earthy tones.

Are your mats Vegan & Cruelty Free?

Yes! All Joonya products are Animal Test-Free & Vegan Certified by PETA (peta.org). 

Are your mats safe for children?

Yes! All our vegan leather mats are manufactured to strict international safety standards for children’s products (EN-71) and then independently tested by SGS to ensure it does not contain harmful chemicals and toxic substances. 

Where are your mats manufactured?

Our mats are designed in Australia and made responsibly in China to the highest safety standards. 

How can I smooth out the folds?

When the mat is folded it will naturally develop crease lines. In our design, we have included a strap on the reverse side of the mat which you can use to hang up your mat, and the weight of the mat helps to release the creases. Alternatively, you can place in sunlight for an hour or gently steam the bottom side. 

Are the mats waterproof?

• Clean the mat with a Joonya wipe or wet cloth & luke warm soapy water. Use a mild detergent only.
• For tougher stains use rubbing alcohol.
• Do not machine wash, tumble dry or iron.
• Whilst our mats are made for mess, avoid acrylic paints, scissors and pens.
• Avoid bleach and harsh cleaners
• Air dry flat before folding, rolling or hanging to store.
• Be careful with sunscreens as they may stain the mat.
